Paramedic and First Responder for several recent hurricanes, Ms. Kirchberg-Schmitt applies dedication to those she cares for as well as her clients. Oversees status of over 70 clients in multiple states, as well as managing same projects.

Kim reflects on her current assignments-

"My current position is by far the one that has brought me the most satisfaction. Being able to assist communities in planning for and preparing to meet the demands of their population during a disaster is one of my life long goals. I consistently get to meet some of the most forward-thinking professionals in my industry and spend time with them, learning about their systems and structures.

I am also afforded the ability to see these systems in a unique light as everything is consistently new and different to me. I am delighted to be able to share information and knowledge between my clients and I hope to be able to continue this level of service to them indefinitely.

I also love knowing that the work I do on a daily basis protects and preserves patients and communities all over the country, continuing the job I started as a field paramedic."
